Event Information
Travel & Dates
The main event is Saturday, March 21, 2026, but we’re celebrating Thursday, March 19 through Monday, March 23.
We (Cecille + Ryan) will be there the whole time, so come early, stay late, and make a trip out of it.
travel & transportation
Please feel free to reach out to Touché Weddings for anything you need or if you like to arrange private transportation.
Event
Thursday, March 19th:
Welcome Party: Kick things off with drinks, music, and lots of hugs
When: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Dresscode: Let the vacation begin. Look stylish and relaxed, and keep it comfortable. No suits, ties, or formal dresses required. Think effortless, vacation casual with a bit of flair.
Arriving on a later flight? No worries at all, there will be plenty of time to join once you land and get settled. DJ Cece may make an appearance, depending on how many drinks she’s had.
——————-
Friday, March 20th:
Daytime Cenote Tour + Swim Activity: Participation is totally optional (and on your own dime).
Cenote Tour: As you know, we’re big on adventure, so we planned a fun group outing for anyone down to explore. We recently visited an incredible cenote and couldn’t resist sharing it with you! There's also a restaurant and pool on site if a cenote swim isn't your thing.
Where: Cenotes Hacienda Mucuyché
Cost: $76 per person
When: 12:30-5:00pm
Pickup around 12:30pm
Return to hotel approximately 5:00pm
Send via Venmo to Ryan and include “Cenote Tour” in the note.
Not feeling the above? Totally fair. If you decide to sit this one out, we’ll share a list of other great activities you can enjoy on your own.
Rehearsal Dinner: We will be hosting a small rehearsal dinner with the wedding party in the evening, so guests will be on their own for dinner. Below is a list of restaurant recommendations so you can explore some of Merida’s best flavors and spots.
After dinner, we plan to meet up at a spot in Central for a nightcap together before we get hitched. Details to come.

Saturday, March 21st
The Wedding: The reason we’re all here.
Shuttle pickup: 4:15 PM
If you’re staying in central Mérida (and not at Hotel Hacienda Xcanatún), please let us know. We will arrange a city shuttle pickup at a specific location (TBD) for those staying in central city location on the wedding day.
Everything else will unfold from there with some really fun surprises for you all
——————-
Sunday, March 22nd
Post-Wedding Rehab Pool Day: Because postpartum party is a thing and storytelling and recovery is mandatory
Pool day, slow morning, a little hair of the dog, and soaking up the Yucatán sun together while we nurse our hangovers and swap stories.
Spa or massage bookings at the hotel are highly encouraged.
The city also shuts down a stretch of downtown for morning bike rides. Ambitious, but probably not our plan. But totally up to you if you want time to explore the city
Dress Code
It’s a formal wedding, but let’s be real, it’s hot in Mérida. Dress to impress and to stay comfortable.
Think breathable fabrics, chic but breezy
Flat shoes highly encouraged (the grounds are all natural, rocks & grass)
For night out & pool parties bring your best looks.

WEATHER
Mérida in March is warm and sunny, with daytime highs around the mid-80s°F (can get in the 90’s) and cooler evenings in the 60s°F to low 70s°F. Pack light, breathable clothing for the day, and something comfortable for the evenings.

Photography
We’ll have pros snapping the best moments, but we also want your perspective! We’ll set up a shared photo album link so you can dump your pics all weekend.
Stay tuned for the official link.
The Rules (aka Survival Tips)
Hydrate & Sunscreen: The Yucatán sun does not play games. (Day= up to 90 / Night= 65)
Be On Time for Shuttles: We’ll have group transport. If you’re late, Uber is your new best friend.
Bug Spray Is Your Friend: Mosquitos love weddings too.
Uber: Pending where you are going Ubers cost between $4 and $20.
Adventures = Pay Your Own Way: We’ll plan, you’ll join, but some excursions will be at your own expense. Venmo excepted ;)
Speeches: We’ll have a few, but we promise to keep the tears quick so the tequila can keep flowing.

Lodging
We’ll be staying at Hotel Hacienda Xcanatun and would love for you to join us there! While there isn’t an official room block, the hotel is currently offering up to 25% off discounted rates. So we highly recommend booking ASAP to lock in the deal. We actually found a better price on Hotels.com when booking through them.
For those looking to splurge, save a little, or spread out with family, Mérida has plenty of other options too from historic haciendas to larger Airbnbs and villas. Reach out to us and/or Touche Wedding Planning for any questions.
No Kids, All Play
We love your little ones, but our wedding is strictly for the Adults. Think tequila shots, cocktails, loud dance floors, and questionable dance moves.
That said, if your kiddos are tagging along to Mérida, our wedding planners at Touché Weddings can help set you up with trusted day care or babysitters.
Hit them up directly for assistance so you can sip, dip, and dance worry-free while the kids have their own fun.
